Spirit Fire® is an open-world adventure in which you build a character and then explore a mysterious series of realms and quest packs, unlocking new content and changing both the world and yourself along the way. TCG-style card play against a variety of skill-test mini-games, a unique leveling and experience system, dozens of card packs to unlock, drop-in drop-out multiplayer, MMO-inspired exploration, and a focus on expressive customization make for a truly unique gaming experience.

You are the story

Spirit Fire® is formatted around three types of content: your character box, quest packs, and realm boxes. At the heart of the experience is your character box, which contains infinite versions of yourself waiting to be discovered. Quest packs add additional storylines and rewards to explore and unlock. Realms present living environments for your character to uncover and pursue their quests in. Together, these elements they form a true open-world experience, where your curiosity guides you.

Who could you be?

Your character is comprised of multiple decks of cards representing aspects of yourself. The disciplines you've learned, the burdens you carry, the things you're working toward, the people and things in the world you've formed connections to, and the spark within that keeps you going. How you navigate the stories you pursue changes which cards are available. Each pack you open adds options to your deck-construction pool, and new builds and synergistic strategies for you to explore.

Every challenge is a unique opportunity

Skill tests are presented by a hefty spiral-bound tome and take the form of mini-games that challenge your card play like an opponent might in a TCG. Each quest dramatically bends and changes these tests in thematically compelling ways, and over time you will unlock different approach cards that open more options for confronting the things you face. What you do often isn’t as important as how you do it, and Spirit Fire rewards pushing yourself and leaning in to each experience, offering more rewards for more clever play.

Complimenting and empowering your card play are a framework of unique and compelling systems that you draw from, manipulate, and respond to. Wild and potent, spirit fire fuels your abilities. The current shape of your resolve dictates the power of certain core actions. The experience you gain creates flicker within you, and how you apply it to yourself informs which cards you unlock. Your internal spark powers you forward, but burn too hot and fast and you'll flame out. Together with your cards, these aspects of self create intricate and intriguing means of exploring the world's mysteries. Also, most these systems' components are aesthetically customizable. You are the center of this story, your game should reflect that.

Explore a variety of open-world realms at your own pace, in the order you wish. Each realm is a distinct setting with its own narratives, maps, quests, opportunities, and perpetual living environments. Get lost in one, or explore many. Your character box comes with an initial realm, others are available separately with more always on the way. Each present a unique open-world you can either delve deeply into, or simply use as the setting for pursuing your personal quests. It’s up to you to determine what is worthy of your spark.
